Why should I use a document destruction
service?
Because you want your customers to know that you are keeping their sensitive
information secure. Because
you want to keep your discarded confidential information away from your
competitors. And because you want to stay in compliance with federal and
state regulations that require you to keep confidential information out
of the wrong hands. It’s like an insurance policy, where you’re
making sure that you’re limiting your exposure – and you’re
doing the smart thing.
We use an office shredder –
isn’t that good enough?
Manually shredding documents is costly – it wastes lots of valuable
labor hours. And it is inefficient. Since a good office shredder shreds
approximately 20 pounds of paper per hour, it would take you three hours
to shred a case of paper. Our shredder destroys up to 8000 pounds of paper
per hour. In addition, the average office shredder shreds documents in
5/8" strips, which can easily be reconstructed.

I know the value of
professional document destruction, and use an off-site service. Why is
on-site better?
One of the main reasons is that your documents are vulnerable
during transportation. Accidents happen. Many reputable companies have
been devastated by news stories of their customers’ sensitive information
strewn all over roadways. And even when the documents make it to the off-site
location, your documents may not be immediately destroyed.
With on-site, how do I know that
my documents have been destroyed?
You receive a certificate of destruction before our technicians leave
your property. The documents never leave the premises, and you are guaranteed
that they are rendered unusable. You may even view the shredding process
through our on-board video camera. You can be confident that your sensitive
information has been destroyed using the most complete, secure, professional,
and discreet method available.

documents to be shredded are discretely removed and destroyed
by our trained technicians, on your premises.
I currently put all of my documents
in the dumpster. Isn’t this good enough?
Once you put your documents in a dumpster, they are no longer protected
and are fair game for dumpster divers. There are many news reports on
all types of documents retrieved from dumpsters and turned over to the
media. In addition, the documents that are removed from your dumpster
provide your competitors with the information they need to out-maneuver
you in the marketplace.
